In 2006, for the sixth year in a row, NuComm International was named one of Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies. Acknowledging Canada's best-run closely held and privately held companies, the "50 Best" is sponsored annually by Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, National Post and Queen's University School of Business.
This honor recognizes companies that are growing rapidly and excelling in the global marketplace; that know how to win and create value in innovative ways, and that are evolving while staying focused on a core vision.
It was a win-win Autumn in 2006 when NuComm International was honoured for Business Excellence at both the regional and provincial Chambers of Commerce Awards.
Representing over 57,000 businesses through Chambers of Commerce and Boards of Trade, and a business advocate, these chambers policy initiatives focus on six areas key to the economic well-being of the constituencies: health; education; energy; finance & taxation; transportation & infrastructure; and border issues. |
